Krista L. Rush
Of Counsel Attorney
Krista L. Rush brings over 25 years of legal experience to Tower Law Group, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, elder law, and probate. A seasoned attorney and former solo practitioner, Krista has handled a broad range of matters throughout her career — including social security disability, family law, civil litigation, and personal injury — giving her a well-rounded perspective that benefits every client she serves.
Krista's background is anything but typical. Before earning her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law, she completed a degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida — a foundation that shaped her instinct for compassionate, people-first counsel. As a Florida Registered Nurse and a Veterans Administration Accredited Attorney, she brings a rare combination of clinical insight and legal expertise that is especially valuable in elder law and estate matters, where the intersection of health, family, and finances is often deeply personal.
Originally licensed in North Carolina in 1999, Krista has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2000. She maintains an active Of Counsel relationship with Tower Law Group while continuing to serve clients through her own independent practice — a deliberate choice that allows her to offer the depth of a collaborative team alongside the personal attention of a dedicated solo practitioner.
Krista is a graduate and current member of the Elder Law College, and she remains deeply engaged in the legal community through her membership in the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and the Florida Bar Elder Law Section. She has also served by appointment on the Florida Bar Standing Committee on Diversity and Inclusion (2019–2024) — a reflection of her commitment to a more equitable legal profession. Outside the law, Krista is an active member of the Junior League, Space Coast Chapter.
